Following the Coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla, Stowmarket Chorale will take you on another journey of pomp and majesty through a performance of ‘Handel’s Monarchs’. The programme will be three of Handel’s ‘Four Coronation Anthems’ and the anthem for Queen Caroline, ‘The Ways of Zion Do Mourn’. Handel’s Coronation Anthems were composed for the Coronation of King George II and Queen Caroline in 1727 at Westminster Abbey.
