Visitors can learn about Round Tower Churches and a lost hamlet in Suffolk as part of Heritage Open Days 8-11 September which features a number of Suffolk churches.
Ramsholt – A Living Memory – takes place at All Saints Church , Church Road, Ramsholt, Woodbridge , Suffolk, IP12 3AB where there is a round tower and a fascinating churchyard with spectacular views over the river Deben.
Visitors can also learn about the lost hamlet of Ramsholt, once a thriving area in the early 20th century. Nature, history, and river walks with trail leaflets are on offer and volunteers will be on hand to explain what’s happening on the day.
