HEIGH-HO, THE HOLLY! | Hexachordia

The festive season brings with it both joy and nostalgia, what better way to celebrate than with a journey back to Tudor and Medieval England through music and words? “Heigh-Ho, The Holly!” invites you to experience the mirth and merriment as it was during this enchanting historical period.

Many of today’s seasonal carols have their origins in the Medieval and Tudor eras and so, whilst the ancient instruments Hexachordia play may be unfamiliar, many of the tunes will be known to everyone. This concert will appeal both to those new to early music, as well as to audiences with a well-established love of this beautiful, timeless music. Not only will you be swept away by the beautiful music performed by Hexachordia, (http://hexachordia.com) but you’ll also be contributing to a very worthy cause.
