From Byrd to Beatles

A programme of music by Palestrina and Byrd as well as some light-hearted Beatles arrangements, can be heard at St Michael’s church, Beccles on 9 September with the Berwick Consort.

The Berwick Consort is a newly-formed group of young singers based in Bristol, singing in a wide variety of styles, and including newly-commissioned works.

Part of the well-known Musical Bites series, this is a chance to enjoy a free performance while you enjoy lunch you have packed yourself or purchased from Support the Friends of St Michael’s Church.

There’s a retiring collection for the South Porch Appeal. Phase 1 of the work means there are now four complete pinnacles adorning this magnificent porch.
