Free concert at Beccles

The all-girl chamber choir of Auriga Capella will give a concert of choral works, solos and duets at St Michael’s Church, Beccles on Sunday June 26 at 4pm.

Music will include Mozart’s aria In uomini, in soldati from Cosi Fan Tutti and Duetto buffo di due Gatti, the famous and humerous cat duet by Rossini, as well as the popular ‘Feed the Birds’ from Mary Poppins.

Tea, coffee and cake will be served after the concert.

Admission is free and there will be a retiring collection for the South Porch Appeal.

The members of the Beccles-based Auriga Capella are 14 -25 years old.  Hear a sample of their fantastic harmonies here.

Proceeds will go towards the restoration of the magnificent south porch of St Michael’s for which £68,000 has yet to be raised.
