Celebrating Shakespeare

All Saints Church, Mendham (IP20 0NH), is the setting for a fabulous flower festival, celebrating the 400th Anniversary of Shakespeare’s death.

The festival entitled: ‘William Shakespeare – His World and Works’ runs from Saturday 2nd July until Sunday 3rd July.

It will open to the public from 10am – 4pm each day and will conclude with a Festival Songs of Praise, at 5pm, on Sunday.

A team of local talented flower arrangers will create the exhibits. There will also be contributions from local schools and youth groups. Light refreshments will be available over the weekend in a marquee, set up in the church grounds.

All proceeds will go to the Church Building Fund.
