The Nightingale in Love – Baroque Love, Melancholy & Birdsong will be performed at St Mary Magdalene Thornham Magna on 18 September at 4pm.
Part of the acclaimed Music at Thornham series, the concert will feature arias and solo works by Purcell, Couperin, Handel, Vivaldi, J S Bach and Telemann, as well as some of their less well known contemporaries from England and the continent, such as William Croft, Nicolas Chédeville, Thomas Williams and Gottfried Finger.
